There was a stiff competition in the 'superheroes category' this year. Even in November, both the sides, Marvel and DC, dropped two awesome movies. Marvel went with Thor (Thor: Ragnarok) so to create a little bit more hype of their another awaited movie, Avengers: Infinite War, the ritual that they have been doing for past a decade; while DC dropped a high budget movie in its 'Team series', Justice League. The DC 'team series' started with Suicide Squad in 2016, though it's another known fact that they got this idea 4 years late (Avengers in 2012). But let's not go there. Justice League is in no doubt, one of the ' better ' DC movies. After the rough hits by critiques to their previous movies, Justice League is actually the movie that stood up after those hits, though could not be said in strong standing. I think there is no need to talk about this. It is a proven fact that the story doesn't matter unless the movie has awesome VFX characters. The story of this movie is simple. An evil arise, it's history is shown stating the difficulty in defeating him before, but he is back, stronger, powerful. A group of concerned people, then come together but knowing they don't have the power to defeat that evil and hence, arise a stronger character, which actually helped them to defeat evil and credits.

DIRECTION
DC is known for its dark reflection and Zack Snyder, as always chosen for this task. Portraying dark dingy environment, properly showing Gotham City facing electricity crisis is one of the main features of all of his DC movies. However, this time he had to focus on five different characters, four having totally unrelated superpowers and one having everything. This is a tricky task and for that, the guy deserves some space. The VFX was comparatively 'thinkable' while the shots were pretty 'decent'. However, I think the major attraction was of his over-sky shots, kind of giving the vibe of Star Wars.
STORY
I think there is no need to talk about this. It is a proven fact that the story doesn't matter unless the movie has awesome VFX characters. The story of this movie is simple. An evil arise, it's history is shown stating the difficulty in defeating him before, but he is back, stronger, powerful. This was the whole storyline of this movie. However, the major difference between Avengers and Justice League is the reason for uniting. In Avengers, they all fought with each other and after the death of one of the less important teammates they united, the major thing that was missing in DC, which actually was odd, considering the general believing of DC being more darker than Marvel.
ACTING
The acting was one of the things which I liked the most. Ben Affleck's and Henry Cavill's portrayal of Batman and Superman, was always giving the chill, while not so old addition of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, seemingly looked independent and hot. However, the major eye catcher was Jason Momoa as Aquaman. That guy, in just a movie, changed the total personality of Aquaman. The transformation of the gayest character to most badass aquatic character is mindblowing. Due to him, there is now actually fan following of Aquaman. The Aquaman souvenirs, according to DC Store, were giving around $20k as revenue, but after the release, the current November revenue is $240k and rising. That's a spike!

AVERAGE
The movie didn't have that power or charisma, which could make my eyes glued to the movie. It has our favourite characters and has decent VFX, these are the only two things this movie got Average rating.
So, until next time.
